Web Design PortfolioClick on the images below to see my designs. Because most of these sites are no longer under my control, I depend on screen shots to give an accurate picture of my capabilities. The samples open in a new window.[>
Current Web SitesThese are active sites:
Sparks Technology, Inc. Corporate SiteSparks had a unique situation in that its product was sold and utilized in many different industries: manufacturing, food service, environmental and defense. Also, most of the company's sales were made through independent distributors and manufactures' reps. We needed to create a site that made it easy for end-users to find a product and order it directly. We also wanted to allow our distributors to link our information directly into their own Web sites so that all our distributors would have the newest product information at the same time.
THOR2Thor2 is a service company owned by Sparks Technology. We wanted to create a site that had its own brand identity, but could still be identified with the Sparks brand, as well. So, I created a unique design that used the same color-scheme as the Sparks Technology corporate site.
The Filter ForumThe Filter Forum was an online trade journal for businesses in the filtration industry. A newsletter containing the top stories was distributed once a month via e-mail. The site contained more information and articles, as well as information on how to submit articles and purchase advertising.
Jeanette le CorbeauLe Corbeau is an erotic writer and owner of Elegant Erotica, Inc. This is her personal Web site to showcase her featured work, which is a serialized novel. She wanted her site to have an film noir vibe, so we selected a black background with white lettering and black and white photography.
The Purple PigThis was created as my class project at the Illinois Institute of Technology and the artist featured on the site is a personal friend. I chose chunky lettering to emulate the colors and artwork on the furniture pictured on the site. The site featured a engine that allowed viewers to view pieces by color or type of furniture. There was also a fun, animated pig on the bottom of the page. (The site was required to have an animated gif.)
